At the stadium
Ele: Hey John! Thanks for meeting me here. I’m SO excited. I’ve never been to a stadium before.
John: No worries, Susan. I cannot believe you haven’t been here before. I’m glad you invited me. I used to come here every weekend with my parents when I was a kid. I don’t really remember the last time I was here. It was a long time ago…
Ele: I know, right? A friend of mine was talking to me about how watching a game at the stadium was a once in a lifetime experience. He said that I could do anything, but nothing would be like doing this.
John: I love this place. This stadium is by Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, the famous architect.
Ele: For sure it’s one of the city’s highlights.
John: Wow, the game is about to start!
Jess (running commentary) (only voice): “Marta shoots in Endler! On a bending bouncer she smothers it. Lloyd makes diagonal runs to get behind the defense.”
Ele: I’m sorry, John, but I have to go to the bathroom.
John: It’s ok…
Jess (only voice): “Here she goes! Lloyd… it’s saved by Endler. Prinz blocked. Oh! This is dangerous! Prinz turns it around and she strikes. Her first goal this season!”
John: Nooooooo!!! (hands on the head)
Ele: I’m back, I’m back… I heard a lot of noise! What have I missed? Anything important?
John: Oh! Prinz has just scored a goal.
Ele: Oh, no! You need to tell me everything.
John: Well… first, Lloyd tried to score but the goalkeeper saved. Then, Printz got the ball and she finally scored. The goalkeeper couldn’t do anything…(sound fades away…)
