stopped over before arriving. Uh…but first, what’s up with you?
Serena:Everything’s good so far. To sum up the last few weeks, I lost my job, so I
decided to take out my old paint brushes again.
Andrew: Oh, that’s amazing! I remember how much you loved to paint. You were the
best in school, you coulda pursued it.
Serena: Really? On the contrary, I never thought I woulda been any good at it. Thank you
though. As I was saying, I certainly took painting a lot more seriously, especially as I
heard that the famous art critique was in town.
Austin: Ohh, howdya get involved with that?
Serena: Well, whaddaya know, she’d already seen one of my paintings, as a result of

Thank you very much, teacher, Austin. I think this has been the most challenging role-play I’ve listened to so far. I didn’t know about the pronunciation of the contractions “must’ve”, “would’ve”, “could’ve”, “might’ve” and “Odda”.
I could also recognize the connector “Likewise though”, I wouldn’t have thought about it ever, and now I wonder how my English coulda gotten by without it. Likewise though, I think I have spare time to learn it and add it to my vocabulary.
