¿Cuándo se usa a lot of y cuándo much en inglés?
Qué diferencia hay entre a lot of y much
Puedes medirlos, pero no decir one money o two waters.
¿Cuándo uso a lot of en inglés?
Cómo usar a lot of con sustantivos contables e incontables
Cuándo conviene usar lots of en lugar de a lot of
Mira cómo funciona en una negación: the glass doesn't have much water.
¿Puedo decir I have much time en una afirmación? No suena natural en inglés moderno. Lo correcto es I have a lot of time. Reserva much para preguntas como how much time do you have? o negaciones como I don't have much time.
Una pista útil para detectar cuál usar: si después del cuantificador puedes decir of, probablemente necesitas a lot of o lots of. No decimos much of water, decimos a lot of water.

Isn't water an uncountable noun? Why in the sentence: I drink ___ of water after exercising, we use Lot of/lots of ?

Hello! Good afternoon Steven. Water is an uncountable noun. But, we use "lot/lots of" for affirmative statements. We use "much" for questions and negative statements. The sentence: I drink ___ of water after exercising is an affirmative statement, so the right is to use "lot/lots of"
