Hi! I want to share with you my time line.
I made it with DrawIO :D
You miss the Viking language. Remember that the Northmen conquered and settled in regions of the Saxon kingdoms.
I didn't realize it, but it's great because it was very easy to understand most of the classes.
Here is my Time line
This is my timeline:
I liked this way to tell the English's history, I approveched each class to learn a few more.
Cómo fue la estructura de este curso?
Diego Mauricio, la estructura de este curso fue diseñada como un proceso de aprendizaje progresivo. Se basó en tres pilares:
En esencia, pasaste de ser un oyente pasivo a un investigador activo que ahora puede visualizar la evolución del idioma.
Para profundizar en los hitos específicos de esta evolución, te recomiendo revisar la clase Historia del Origen y Evolución del Inglés.
On the 5th Century 450 the beginning of English started with the following tribes
Angles, Saxons in England.
On the 8th Century 800-1000 the Arabic influence began in the areas of science, trade and in school.
Centuries after the Viking invaded England that event also modified the language.
In 1066 the Frech had presence in this area and also shared many words in the English Vocabulary.
Around 1476 William Caxton introduced the printing press to England this helped standardize English spelling.
During the 16th Century 1500 Early Modern English began and grammar rules were stablished.
British started to envade different areas of the world such as NorthAmerica in 1770, Australia in 1760 Canada in 1795.
English is a global language that most countries had to learn in order to sell, buy, trade.
I like the course a lot to improve my listening skills, thank you

This course is very interesting...Thanks!
It has been a very important course, where it was possible to understand, through audio, several stories; learning pronunciation, vocabulary and communication structures.
This course is the best. I improved more vocabulary and pronunciation in specific word.
this is amazing

I notice the pace changing class to class, it is nice to practice our listening.
