Obtain your dream job

Looking for work is stressful so you must take control of the things that you can control. Where are you aiming? What are your goals? Organize your goals, take some time, and make a list of the things you want to accomplish.

Know yourself

What are your weaknesses and strengths? Make a timeline and recognize the moments where you shone, learned many things or marked you then reflect on it and analyze patterns. What did you like? Why did it mark you? You want to do? What things motivate you? Why do I want to do that? Be honest with yourself and take time to reflect. Write it down and then check it out in a few weeks. What soft skills did you learn?

Present yourself

This part will be much easier if you did the previous part well.

  1. Who are you?

  2. What do I do?

  3. Where do you want to go?

Many times, what you do does not define you in a good way, a teacher teaches classes, but marks and prepares lives.

Record your presentation and get comfortable with it, be your own judge, ask for feedback and iterate constantly. It is important to do this activity on a recurring basis, since we change frequently. The person you are today will not be the same in 2 months. Don’t forget to be specific and punctual to get the attention of your employer.

I want to work Where?

Look for companies that have the position you want to do, but you can be a large, small, start-up company, in another city. Once you have the company, research it! know about their values, principles, people who work there, what positions they hold, and now it’s time to…

You must identify who oversees the hiring. The design does matter, use bullets, bold and DO NOT PUT IT ANY MORE DESIGN. You can see this site to create signatures https://www.hubspot.es/email-signature-generator Have a strategy:

  1. Broadcast themes at the end

  2. Invite a meeting

  3. Follow-up —> do not be intense.

Be specific and punctual.

You must see yourself clean and tidy, be sure, a key tip is to see between the eyes. Take care of your posture and when they ask you about your weaknesses, consider what you are doing to improve them instead of just naming them.

DO NOT be late and do not ask for forgiveness.

DO NOT speak ill of others.

DO NOT use cliches (everyone uses them)

● Why did you decide to study that?

● What is your work experience?

● How was your previous boss?

● Do you have hobbies?

● How do you imagine your future?

● How do you relate to teamwork?

Create a bank of stories, do not be caught by surprise any of these questions

High performance student.

You must have a balance between emotional tools and techniques that accompany us in the process. When you are tired in the middle of a course it is emotional and when you wonder how to take notes it is the technical side of the coin and you need a balance between the two. If you achieve balance you will have a more balanced process. It is literally neurobiologically impossible to build memories, involve complex thoughts or make meaningful decisions without emotions.

Set goals

You are already clear about your skills, now it’s time to set goals. Where should I start? this question is typical and now we will analyze it.

  1. Ask real life questions: What do I want to learn? What do I know and how do I know, you are looking to learn something new or to know an application of that knowledge?

  2. Look for resources: You already answered the previous question, but how do you know that it is good information? How do you complement?

  3. Interpret the information: Is it relevant?

  4. Contribute your findings: Contribute! What do you want to learn for? This question is very important. It might just make you happy by finally asking yourself what it relates to.

At what level of knowledge are you:

  1. Know: Know about a topic and talk about it.

  2. Know-how: Achieve effective execution.

  3. Know and be: Know how to implement or optimize.

Cognitive blindness.

Some things happen within our knowledge:

  1. You know what you know

  2. You know what you need to learn.

  3. What I do not know I don’t know.

We do not see what we do not know or what we are not looking for. It is similar with magic tricks or Facebook images where you must look for the dog and the child.
