What we came to: What is Markdown?

Markdown is a way to design text on the web. You control the display of the document; highlighting words in ** bold ** or cursive, adding 👨‍🚀 emojis 🚀, images, videos, creating lists or tables.

Markdown is widely used in the technology industry for its versatility and simplicity. You can use it in Slack and it is the default markup language in the project documentation in Git-hub.

Markdown is used in Platzi for the blog, the tutorials, the forum, the comments, both in the questions and in the answers. Within Platzi, the only space where you will not be able to use Markdown is in the markers. (At least this is the case until the current date 2020)

Images

You can upload your images and gifs to a free service like Imgur and embed it, as shown below:
