Simple present is the structure that we use to describe general events, general states, descriptions about people, general descriptions.
The conjugation is simple, but if we are using a pronoun he, she or it; we add -s to the verb.
Examples
I feel more energized after I take a nap.

Rick and Joe study in the same university. - They study in the same university.
