¿Cómo expreso meses y estaciones en inglés?
Para hablar de periodos largos como meses (diciembre, julio), años (2019) o estaciones del año (verano), la regla de oro en inglés es utilizar la preposición in. Piensa en in como un contenedor grande donde cabe mucho tiempo. Por ejemplo, en lugar de traducir literalmente, debes pensar en la estructura: in + mes/año/estación. Si quieres agendar unas vacaciones o hablar de un evento futuro, dirás "in December", "in summer" o "in 2024". Es un error muy común intentar usar on o at para estos casos. Mantén en mente que mientras más amplio sea el periodo de tiempo, más probable es que necesites usar in para encapsular toda esa duración.
