Today, there are over 6500 spoken languages in the world. So, with such a huge selection of languages, why learn English? More specifically, why learn English for finance? Let’s explore some of the main reasons for choosing English.

English is the official language of 53 countries. But let’s put these in perspective. If you were to travel to six countries each year, it would take you nine years to visit all the countries in which the official language is English. So, by learning English, you gain a deeper understanding of different cultures, way of living, food and people.

Over 400 million people in the world speak English as their first language. What’s more, English is the official “second language” of the world. This makes English one of the most useful languages to learn.

What does this mean when it comes to job opportunity, especially in the area of finance?

Do you remember getting allowance money when you were a child? Or did you start doing small jobs like babysitting or cutting grass for your neighbors? As an adult, have you inherited money because a loved one left you money for your education or for travel?
My point is this, improving on one of the widely spoken languages, English, and learning about finance will improve your life, career and adventures.
