Getting those first users is hard, but you can make it happen with a clear launch plan. Use Lovable’s Publish workflow, polish your OG metadata, and promote on Lovable Launch and Product Hunt to earn upvotes, traffic, and high‑value feedback. A real example shows the impact: a similar app, Renamify, got 7,000 users on day one.

How do you publish your app with Lovable?

Publishing is straightforward and sets you up to share confidently.

Click the Publish button at the top right to go live on a provided URL.
Optionally connect a custom domain when you are ready.
Before sharing, ask Lovable to add OG metadata to ensure the correct name, description, and image.
Share your published link on social media or LinkedIn once it looks right.

What is OG metadata and why does it matter?

OG metadata controls how your link appears when shared. It helps people instantly understand your app.

Ensures the right name shows, not a generic label.
Adds a concise description for immediate context.
Includes an image to increase clicks and credibility.

How can Lovable Launch get your first users?

Lovable Launch (launched.lovable.dev) is similar to Product Hunt but focused on Lovable makers. You can browse recent apps, submit your own, and start collecting upvotes and visitors.

Create a compelling launch profile with a clear picture and short description.
Explain the problem you solve so people know why to try your app.
Fill in the name, tagline, and description.
Add a logo (you can generate one with AI if needed).
Upload strong project images. These are the make‑or‑break for clicks.
Choose relevant tags. For a renaming app, think productivity and utility.
Include your app link and a social media announcement for LinkedIn, Reddit, and Twitter.

Which assets increase upvotes and clicks?

Prioritize clarity and visual proof of value.

Show clean, informative screenshots that highlight the core workflow.
Use concise copy that states the problem and outcome.
Keep the visuals consistent with your logo and tagline.

Why launch on Product Hunt and when should you post?

Product Hunt reaches a broader audience of investors, founders, and startups. After creating your account and project post, timing helps.

Post later in the week. Early‑week slots often go to established companies.
Schedule your post to line up with when your assets are ready.

What tactics helped a real launch perform?

A similar app, Renamify, reached about 7,000 users on day one with simple, disciplined steps.

Describe exactly what the product is and the problem it solves.
Ask friends and family to sign up and vote early for initial traction.
Aim to stay in the top 10 to sustain visibility and feedback.
Share nice photos and maybe a short video overview.
Engage with comments to gather actionable feedback.

Have a question or want feedback on your launch assets? Share your planned tagline or screenshots in the comments and ask for a quick review.
