• Will: is more casual way to make the request.
  Will you close the door, please?
• Would: Is much more polite way to make the request.

Structure:
Would like + noun + to + verb
I would like you to stay.

Requests with “will” and “would”

Summary:
The request with WILL is more informal or casual and the request with WOULD is more polite.

• Use for example: “WILL you close the door please?” when you are talking with someone that you are close to.

• And use:” WOULD you close the door please?” when you want to sound much more polite.

• Structure: WOULD LIKE + NOUN (person or something) + TO + VERB.
  Affirmative example: I would like to stay (request). My friend would like me to go to the party.
