Hola 👋🏼 Better se usa para indicar que algo es mejor que otra cosa. Ejemplo: Your results were better than mine = Tus resultados fueron mejores que los mios. More than se usa para indicar que algo es más que otra cosa. Ejemplo: 5 is more than 1 = 5 es más que 1.

Better se usa para saber si algo es mejor y more than se usa para indicar que algo es superior a otras opciones

El primero es superlativo y el otro es comparativo. No tienen el mismo significado.

"Better than" compares quality -The taste of Mexican avocado is better than American avocado.
"More than" compares quantity
