It is the most difficult exercise I have done here at Platzi.
i agree with you
I think is key to use a good headphones to listen to the recordings. It helps, even though is still a difficult exercise.
I only know the Listening2 was a Basketball game because of the 3-points shots
Yeah, me as well.
Yes, I think in basketball game only for this word, I need to know more vocabulary about sports.
the game is tied the meaning is when both have the same points
I didn't know it, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
The game is tied. ++It means both teams have the same points++
Where is the audio? 🤔
Hi! I was looking for it, too
Hey, everyone! The two audio files are already available in the resources section. Thank you for your patience. Enjoy the exercise! :)
I think that the first event is an American Football Game and the second event is a Basketball Game.
I thought the same, it's kind of tricky differentiate what sport they are talking about.
I think the first one is soccer because they make a goal, and at the American Football the players make touchdowns as I know.
Bending boucer-> tiro con comba ( I think thie is the most accurate translation) Tip out-> lanzar
*If I'm wrong, please let me know
The second activity was easier for me because basketball vocabulary has unique words (three point shot.). Instead of first activity in which we can listen words like runs, block, goal that may can be used in football (the original) and american football.
Ohhh!! For me, the first one was easy due to "goal" word hahaha, tks for your comment, I didn't know that about American Football. One doubt, What do you mean by "original football"?
I agree. For me was difficult understand the second activitie.
very difficult, many words unknow and if you don´t know about sports, you can´t understand anything.
There is nothing on the worksheet
What happend!!!! there is nothing on the worksheet
Hi, I can not open the mp3 files. They don't work, at least for me :( What can I do?
Hi 😊, yes the audio works, could you try again please? Audio1 Audio2
If it still doesn't work, can you share with me a screenshot?
Never stop learning~ 💚
I sent an e-mail to support reporting the problem. Hopefully, they will solve it soon.
Hey, everyone! The two audio files are already available in the resources section. Thank you for your patience. Enjoy the exercise! :)
Hi Mauricio! Sorry for the inconvenience, you can find the audios in the resources section now.
I tried to do the exercise but the Worksheet PDF is empty
Hi Cesar, would you please help me, i didn't find the audio to make my excersises, could you tell me how can i find them?
Thanks...
I have the same problem
Hi! You can find them in the resources section.
This is a bad time for a person that doesn't know anything about sports :p I feel in trouble
t is the most difficult exercise I have done here at Platzi.
This activity was pretty difficult but an interesting exercise to be closer to diary situations like sports. My performance was terrible, I thought the first event was an American football game and the second a basketball game 😅
For a moment when I heard the first audio, I thought the game was American football. 😅
In the first audio I found out it was a soccer game just when he said it was "her first goal of the season"
In the second audio I figured it was a basketball game because he was talking of a "3 point shoot"
For me it was difficult to understand the whole audio, I just discovered the answer because of the clue words
There was a woman who sold flowers on the street. She couldn’t speak well, and her dream was to work in a flower shop. For that, she needed to speak properly.
There were two men who were English teachers. One of them said he could teach anyone to speak like a high-class person. The other said it would take several years of study. But the first man claimed that with his method, he could do it in just a few months. They made a bet.
Then the man met Eliza, the woman who sold flowers on the street, and told her he could teach her to speak properly — but she would have to live in his house and do everything he said.
She moved in with him and began to study. At first it was hard, and she couldn’t pronounce the words correctly. But eventually, she passed as a high-born lady and fell in love with her teacher
