Right now I don't need eye exams because I have a very well vision. But maybe in the future, I will.
El objetivo siempre es el mismo: to help us see better. Y como recuerda la clase con esa frase clásica, better to see you with, my dear, ver bien es parte central de tu día a día.
¿Glasses, contact lenses o surgery: cuál eliges?

When I was a boy I received a stone in the left eye. At that moment I fell unconscious and I woke up later in the hospital together with my parents. The amazing thing is that after a weekly treatment of almost six months , my eye was left as if nothing had happened. How something that seems so fragile has so much resilience. Afterwards, I started wearing glasses when I was an adult. A minimum graduation of 0.25 to see at medium distance. Something normal.

Yes, I needed an eye exam. The ophthalmologist recommended that I should wear glasses to view any screens. Since then, I've been wearing glasses every time I have to be in front of a screen (Which is almost all day LOL).

I use glasses but I don't like it, maybe I will buy contact lenses next month

"I have been prescribed glasses two times in my life. The first time was when I was 8 years old. They made me wear glasses for a couple of months until I broke them. I started to hide where my glasses were. My teacher and my mother always asked, and I said, 'I left them at home,' or 'No, I left them at school,' but one day they found out my secret. We went to the optometrist, and in the second eye exam, they said they had made a mistake and I didn't need glasses!
The second time was when I was 28 years old. During Covid, I started to work from home and I was seeing blurry (or had blurry vision) and I had headaches really often. So, I had an eye exam where they determined I have to wear glasses again after 20 years.

I grew up with a blurry sight and it wasn’t until I had almost fourteen that I went trough a vision exam, because it was clear that I had a problem with my eyes, the ophthalmologist prescribed glasses for me, I have never used contact lenses, but I need to take an annual vision exam and determine if I need new glases, I’ve thought about surgery, but it is too expensive and I don’t even know whether I’m a candidate.

I have had several eye exams because I noticed my vision was getting blurry . I chose glasses they are easy to wear and I like how they look. Plus they protect my eyes from the wind and dust.

Well, long time ago, I visited my optometrist due to a problem to seeing. Basically, words at a distance weren’t clear enough for me, so I made an appointment.
He advised me to wear glasses and I wore them for some time. To be honest, I stopped wearing them out of embarrassment, but I haven’t visited my doctor again to check my vision or see if I need a new prescription.

I ended up needing glasses this year after more than 7 years of working in front of a PC for over 8 hours a day. The doctor told me I need them for 'visual strain', not for 24/7 use, but 'just' when I'm in front of the computer. Since I have a screen in front of me all day anyway, they’re basically permanent! LOL

I need to wear glasses to correct a minor defect in my vision. As my defect is very little, I'm not a canditate for surgery. However, I really enjoy wearing glasses, so not being able to have surgery isn't a problem for me.

Nearsighted vision occurs when an individual has difficulty seeing objects at a distance -- they’re near-sighted. On the flip side, farsighted vision occurs in individuals that have difficulty seeing objects up close -- far-sighted

I started using glasses to protect me of screens, but right now i think i need prescribed glasses
