¿Qué significa by the book en inglés?
Un ejemplo del transcript lo deja claro: My mom always goes by the book at work.
¿Cuándo uso by the book?
¿Qué quiere decir call the shots y cómo se usa?
En el ejemplo del transcript: I like to call the shots at my house.
Mientras by the book describe a alguien que obedece reglas, call the shots describe a quien las crea.
¿Cave in es positivo o negativo?
Puedes decir: If they did things right, they could corner the market and control everything.
No querían ir by the book, pensaban romper algunas reglas. No quería que caved in.
