Great, thx!
¿Qué significa beat the clock en inglés?
La narradora reflexiona y dice que, si pudiera turn back the hands of time, habría llevado una computadora de respaldo.

We had a big project to finish. If we did it well, we would all hit the big time! Time was running out for us. We had to beat the clock to get our job done. We did a lot of killing time waiting for the computer to get fixed. If I could Turn back the hands of time I would have done things differently. I would have brought a backup computer. Instead, I had a notebook and pens with me. My friends say I am behind the times. I disagree! I love to write and I don’t need a computer for that!
